Rundells mahogany trail rides based in Warrnambool millers lane since 1997 operates horse riding lessons beach trail rides and school group sessions including instruction and riding. We cater to the local community, tourist’s interstate and from all over the world. Our trail rides have been operating successfully for the last 10 years. In that period of time thousands of locals and tourists have enjoyed riding along the pristine beaches and through the sand dunes.
We offer first time riders the opportunity to enjoy beach riding with instruction before leaving the stables and qualified staff to help clients ride our wonderful horses. Specially bred horses to cater from the nervous beginner to the very experienced rider so that everyone can enjoy the thrill of riding a horse along a wide open beach. Horse riding truly is a great activity; get out in the outdoors, great exercise for your whole body and a heap of fun.
Our complex offers first time riders and ongoing riders the chance to have lessons, in an enclosed area. This enables beginners to enjoy a safe and relaxed environment to learn how to ride and horse and the fundamentals of horse skills. Also catering to more advanced riders we have jumping facilities and a larger area to improve and learn new skills.
Our horses have been specially bred over the last 15 years to cater to our riding school. Using Thoroughbred, Quarter horse and Australian stock horse mares with Clydesdale and Percheron stallions. These horses are tough, placid, smooth to ride and range from horses to suit the nervous beginner to, a responsive leg yielding horse for the much more advanced rider.
Ages 9 and upwards, unless children have had prior riding experiences and are capable of riding unaided.

Directions: From Warrnambool head west on the A1 highway towards Port Fairy, when you get to the outskirts of Warrnambool you will drive over two bridges. After you have driven over the second bridge, (Merri river bridge) take the first turn to the left (Illowa Rd), drive 0.7km and take the second left (Millers Lane) drive straight up the end. |
