Sue Jones – Vocals
If any one aspect of HITZONE is to be singled out as the main feature, it is certainly the extraordinary talent, quality and versatility of Sue’s vocal performance. Few female vocalists attempt songs by the world’s most famous divas such as Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and Mariah Carey, and still fewer do them justice. Sue not only does them justice, but adds a further dimension, whilst retaining the essence and quality of the original song and artist. From the lowest subtle dulcet tones, to the highest of highs, a voice with the power that could light up a small city, and send shivers down your spine. Sue is truly a master of her craft and consistently leaves audiences amazed and delighted, and is definite proof that you don't have to be a recording star to stand along side the most famous singers of the world as an equal.
 

There are 6 beautiful cottages. They vary in size and can accommodate 2-14 people. All of the cottages have been built to perfection using polished recycled timbers. They have luxurious king size beds with crisp white sheets and warm feather doonas. The kitchens are well equipped with gas cook tops and microwaves. Mannagum and The Lodge have ovens.
Each cottage has a large living area complete with dining table and soft furnishings, ideal for lazing around reading or watching a dvd. To keep you cosy and warm in winter each cottage is heated with a slow burning wood fire.
All cottages have a TV, dvd and cod player. There are gas barbecues for each cottage with outdoor tables in a bush setting.
The property covers 200 acres of natural bushland, including a spectacular region of lush rainforest and boasts many native birds and animals. Black fish, trout, and fresh water cray inhabit this unspoiled creek running from the Angahook State Forest. Our recreation park is the ideal place for group and family BBQs, with mini golf, a playground, swimming pool, spa and sun deck. We also offer our guests facilities for retreats, conferences, weddings and business functions. And don't forget we are PET FRIENDLY so feel free to bring them along for a holiday with you!

King Parrot is the perfect venue for any sort of residential wellness retreat. The peaceful tranquillity of the surrounding bush where the only sounds are those of the birds is ideal for quiet reflection and contemplation. The natural beauty of King Parrot is a perfect setting for group and individual pursuits. The Hall is a beautiful large space, 12m x 6m with polished floorboards, heating and cooling and stunning views of the Pennyroyal Valley from the outside deck. If floor mats are to be used for a yoga or similar workshop the Hall can spaciously accommodate 20 people. If seating is required for the workshop then the hall can easily accommodate 30.
We can cater for your seminar or workshop or you can self cater in the many excellent kitchens available to you. We can cater for any special dietary requirements and have vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and non vegetarian choices.

Conferences
King Parrot offers live-in conferences facilities for up to 30 people. The conference centre offers all modern conveniences necessary for a successful conference, staff training or team building.

In 1887 the hotel was built by Melbourne architects Reed, Henderson and Smart for Martha Nugent and Joseph Goslin in the style of a large house rather than a public building. The style of the structure is of interest for its reflection of Northern European Renaissance architecture, particularly from countries such as France and the Netherlands. The Queenscliff Hotel is of social significance for its association with wealthy Victorian society around the turn of the century who regarded Queenscliff as a fashionable summer holiday resort. Today, not much has changed, and the Queenscliff Hotel is still the place to stay in summer and winter.

The hotel now has 17 guest rooms, each with their own style, and most with their own ensuite. The rooms feature antique brass beds and carefully restored antique furniture. For those who have not stayed with us before, we wish to advise that there are no televisions, telephones and radios in our rooms. This means that you truly are getting away from everyone and everything.

The Dining Room is opened Wednesday through to Sunday. For those with an appreciation and expectation of good international cuisine, fine wines and attentive service, the Dining Room is a fixture on Australia's culinary landscape The Courtyard Restaurant is long famous for its variety of fine food and beverage selection. The Courtyard Restaurant overlooks the courtyard garden with its fountain, canopy of trees and fragrant flowers. The restaurant has a conservatory feel to it, and can seat one hundred guests. The Boat Bar is a cosy area in winter with its open fire places, and its nautical atmosphere. Dinner is served in the bar seven nights a week, and is ideal for those light lunches on the weekends. We also offer a large selection on boutique beers, and local wines. For those interested in Weddings at the Queenscliff Hotel, we cater for ceremonies and wedding receptions from 10 to 120 guests. From a private wedding dinner in our board room, a formal dinner in the Dining Room, or a casual wedding in the Courtyard Restaurant, we can be of assistance to make your day special. We have secluded gardens for the ceremony, or an indoor option is our conservatory. Our expert staff are here to help with all inquiries you may have. At the Queenscliff Hotel, it is a special place for all occasions.

For something decidedly different and entirely enjoyable, Queenscliff's legendary Blues Train is one of the Geelong region's most spectacular dining and entertainment experiences.

With a capacity of 200 (50 in each of the four carriages) it has become enormously popular as a function venue and can accommodate parties of up to 200 people for a unique dinner and show - including weddings, birthday parties, corporate functions, christmas celebrations and special occasions.
