Description
Merton Manor, in historic Warrnambool on the Great Ocean Road, is a magnificent Italienate Villa built in the 1880's. We have kept the main structure of the house original and Mews style suites have been provided as guest accommodation in the garden area. Guests therefore have privacy when required, but have complete access to the house at all times to enjoy the formal lounge rooms, the drawing room, the grand piano and the billiard room with it's full sized Duke of Edinburgh billiard table. All these rooms have open fires and central heating. A full cooked breakfast is served in the grand dining room, or may be taken privately in the front lounge, or in your own suite.
The property is full of art work and antiques and no expense has been spared in the guests' suites. They are elegantly decorated with rich furnishings, quality fittings, a huge double spa in each suite and little touches like port, chocolates and shortbreads are all provided for the guests' enjoyment.
The rose gardens and Colonade area invite guests to enjoy a glass of wine or afternoon tea at their leisure, or, if they prefer, inside by the open fire. We are here to make your stay with us is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
